Changes and refunds
Your turf is cut and your day is booked as soon as you order, so orders are final once placed. Here's why, and what we can do if plans change.
Booked as soon as you pay
Once payment goes through, we book your turf for your day and reserve your delivery or collection day on our round. That's the day, not a set time. We may turn other orders away for that day, so please check everything before you pay.
Order by 2pm the working day before your delivery or collection at the latest, but please order as far in advance as you can to avoid disappointment. On occasion, later ordering may be possible where a date shows as available.
If your plans change
Contact us as soon as you can with your order reference. We'll help where we reasonably can, for example by moving your day if the round allows, but we can't promise a change.
If you have rolls you can't lay straight away, unroll them grass side up in the shade and water them.
Refunds
Turf is perishable and cut to order, so there are no refunds for a change of mind.
Checking your rolls
We count every order out to what you've paid for, each roll covering about 1 m². Count yours when you collect, before driving away, or as soon as they've been delivered and before laying. Tell us the same day, with a photo of the stack, if anything isn't right.
Ragged edges and the odd roll in pieces come from machine harvesting and are normal. They knit together once laid and watered.
Weather
If bad weather or a problem our end means we can't deliver or have your turf ready on your day, we'll contact you to arrange a new day.
None of this affects your statutory rights.
Turf laying
For laying jobs, your quote and our turf laying terms cover deposits, changes and cancelling.
