Getting a vehicle to you
Farm tracks vary from firm hardcore to deep ruts. Describe yours in your access notes: how long it is, what the surface is like, any gates, cattle grids or livestock, and where the vehicle can turn.
If the vehicle can't safely reach the house, the rolls are left at the closest suitable point, such as the yard or the track end.
Ground around old buildings
Former yards often hide hardstanding, stone and old foundations under a thin layer of soil. Check the depth before ordering, and bring in topsoil where it's shallow.

Will the driver open our gates?
Tell us in your access notes how gates should be left. If livestock are about, make sure the route is safe on the day.
Is there a lot of turf for a big order?
Yes, it's heavy and bulky. Have help ready to lay it the same day.
