A lawn for dogs and children
Kids and dogs are hard on grass. A fresh lawn, well rooted before it gets busy, gives you the best start.

Keep them off while it roots
Fence off part of the garden or use a temporary barrier so new turf can root undisturbed. Lift a corner gently to check: when it resists, it's rooting.
Living with it
Dog wee can leave yellow patches; watering the spot straight away helps. Move goalposts and play equipment around now and again so one area doesn't wear bare.
Questions people ask
When can the kids play on it?
Once it has rooted firmly. Check by gently lifting a corner; if it holds, it's ready for light use.
Do I need to be in when the turf arrives?
No. We'll message your mobile and email when your turf is ready for delivery or collection, and again once it's been delivered or collected, although the message may not arrive at the exact moment it's left. Count your rolls once they've been left and before you start laying.
