Replace a mossy or worn-out lawn
When moss, bare patches and weeds have taken over, starting again with fresh turf is often quicker than trying to rescue it.

Out with the old
Lift the old lawn with a spade or turf cutter, dig over the soil and rake out stones and roots. If moss was the problem, the ground may be shaded or poorly drained, so improve that while the soil is open.

Questions people ask
Can I lay new turf over the old lawn?
No. Lift the old lawn first so the new roots reach the soil.
Do I need to be in when the turf arrives?
No. We'll message your mobile and email when your turf is ready for delivery or collection, and again once it's been delivered or collected, although the message may not arrive at the exact moment it's left. Count your rolls once they've been left and before you start laying.
